Director Adam Barron, Club Manager and certified director. Adam loved bridge so much in high school, he had to quit cold turkey if he was going to go to college. Graduating Dartmouth College and the F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine, he served in the US Navy for 8 years as a medical doctor/officer. After finishing his enlistment, he underwent a 4 year residency in pathology at the West L.A. VA Medical Center followed by a forensic pathology fellowship at the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. Adam left medical work in the early 2000’s and spent a decade volunteering at local hospitals and at his synagogue and self-reinventing. In 2014 a special opportunity surfaced — serving as the “heir apparent” to Pat Abbey. Adam enjoys voluntarily teaching, managing, directing games and match-making for the bridge club.
