Adam Barron, Club Manager and certified director. Adam loved bridge so much in high school, he had to quit cold turkey if he was going to go to college. Graduating Dartmouth and the F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine, he served in the US Navy for 8 years as a medical officer/physician. He subsequently completed 5 1/2 years of anatomic, clinical and forensic pathology training at the West L.A. VA Medical Center and the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
Adam left medical work in the 2000’s and spent a decade volunteering at local hospitals and at his synagogue and self-reinventing. In 2014 a special opportunity surfaced — managing, directing, and playing duplicate bridge at the Pat Abbey Bridge Club. Adam appreciates the chance to teach, foster camaraderie, and administer for the bridge club.
